Hamas sets terms for ceasefire

Gaza: Israel must end all raids in Palestinian territory, and reopen the Gaza border, Hamas said on Wednesday, while publicly setting terms for a ceasefire.
In a speech, Hamas leader Ismail Haniya said, “"There must be a commitment by Israel, to end all its aggression against our people, assassinations, killings and raids, and lift the (Gaza) siege and reopen the crossings.''
He said a ceasefire deal must be "reciprocal, comprehensive and simultaneous," and should be valid in both Gaza and West Bank, adding that they will not abandon the people in West Bank.
Israel did not immediately respond to Haniya's remarks.
