Hamas fires rockets on Israel, blacking out half of town
Gaza militants fired more than 10 rockets into on southern Israel Tuesday, directly hitting a house and injuring one person, police said.
Occupied Jerusalem: More than 10 rockets were firedinto southern Israel Tuesday by Gaza militants, directly hitting a house and injuring one person, police said.
Israeli television channels reported that power was out in half of the southern town of Sderot, with a population of 24,000 residents, after a main electric line was hit.
Earlier, rockets had hit factories, causing damage but no injuries.
Militants from the Islamic Hamas group that rules the Gaza Strip said that, in one hour, they had fired 12 rockets.
