Gaza: A 14 year-old boy died after Israeli aircraft fired a missile near a car in northern Gaza on Tuesday.
Palestinian medics said the teenage bystander was killed by flying shrapnel from the strike.
The Israeli army said it was unaware of any air strikes in the area but was checking the report.
Witnesses said the missile landed near the car as it was traveling just outside the town of Beit Lahiya.
Four people inside the vehicle were wounded, one seriously.
151 Palestinians, more than half of them civilians, have been killed by the Israeli army in Gaza since it began an offensive to stop gunmen from firing rockets into Israel and to pressure militants to free a soldier captured on July 12.
