Clashes in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli ended on Thursday after Lebanese troops deployed to the volatile region.

Military forces moved in after fatal clashes between Sunni and Shiite sects erupted in the city leaving at least four people dead, and wounded 75.
The fighting between the Sunni Bab Tibbaneh district and Alawite Jabal Mohsen district began overnight on Wednesday and continued late into the night.
Many families were forced to seek refuge in other parts of Tripoli following the violence.
