Hezbollah on Friday began handing out wads of money to people whose houses were destroyed by Israeli strikes.
The US is concerned that the move – which they say is funded by Israeli money – will entrench Hezbollah's popularity.
The action to help those whose lives were destroyed during the 34 day war will “strengthen people's faith in Hezbollah'' said one man who had just received $12,000 in cash.
