Obama to meet Jordan's King Abdullah during Middle East visit
Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama will travel to Amman on July 22 for talks with King Abdullah II, a senior Jordanian official said on Saturday.
Amman: Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama will travel to Amman on July 22 for talks with King Abdullah II, a senior Jordanian official said on Saturday.
"King Abdullah II of Jordan will receive Mr Obama on July 22 at the royal palace at Amman," as part of his five-day Middle East and European tour, said the official who requested anonymity.
The king began a private visit to the United States on Thursday and is due to give a speech at the Aspen Institute in Colorado on July 21 before returning to Amman.
