Ankara: Turkey carried out fresh air strikes overnight Saturday on Kurdish rebel positions inside northern Iraq, the Turkish military announced Sunday.
Turkish warplanes have carried out raids on Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) areas in northern Iraq since February.
More than 2,000 PKK rebels have taken refuge in northern Iraq.
The PKK is listed by the United States and the European Union as a terrorist group.
