Sunni politician shot dead
A regional Sunni Arab candidate was shot dead whilst filling up his car at a petrol station in Baghdad on Tuesday.

Mizhar Dulaimi, who headed the Free Progressive Iraqi Party, had appeared on television the previous night urging Iraq?s to vote.
Also on Tuesday there was an attempt to blow up leading Shiite politician Shaikh Jalalalddin Al Saghe who is a member of the National Assembly.
The roadside bomb damaged one of the cars in the convoy but Al Saghe escaped unharmed.
