Clashes between security forces and Shiite militants in Baghdad have left fourteen people dead and more than 140 wounded, a medical official said on Wednesday.
Baghdad: Clashes between security forces and Shiite militants in Baghdad have left fourteen people dead and more than 140 wounded, a medical official said on Wednesday.
The official added that the figures were compiled from hospitals from around Baghdad, adding that women and children were among the casualties.
The fighting occurred in the Sadr City slum in Baghdad which has been ridden in conflict which erupted on Tuesday and continued through the night.
