Baghdad: A car bomb killed 12 people and wounded 22 others in northeastern Baghdad on Sunday, Iraqi police said.
Police said the parked vehicle exploded near a passport office in Baghdad, killing mostly civilians, an official said.
Another roadside bomb exploded near eastern Baghdad's Al Kindi Hospital, wounding nine people, including three policemen.
In Baghdad's Al Ghadir neighbourhood, a bomb that targeted but missed a convoy of SUVs injured two people.
The attacks come as calm slowly returns to Baghdad more than five years after the US-led invasion in 2003.
