Al Qaida captain killed in Iraq raid

Baghdad: The leader of Al Qaida in Iraq was shot dead during a raid in Samarra on Saturday, Iraqi police said.

In Baquba, police found a mass grave containing the bodies of 12 people believed to be victims of Al Qaida in Iraq.
