9 killed in Baghdad blasts
A car bomb exploded near the Iranian embassy in downtown Salihiyah neighbourhood, killing three civilians and wounding three others.
Baghdad: At least nine Iraqi civilians were killed in bombings across Baghdad on Sunday, police said.
A car bomb exploded near the Iranian embassy in downtown Salihiyah neighbourhood, killing three civilians and wounding three others.
Three people were also killed and four others wounded when a roadside bomb targeting police patrols exploded near a minibus in Baladiyat neighbourhood east of the capital.
A half-hour later, in the predominantly Sunni neighbourhood of Dora in southern Baghdad, a second roadside bomb targeting a US patrol killed three civilians.
