Baghdad: Thirty decomposed bodies have been found in a mass grave north of Baghdad on Sunday, the Iraqi military said.

The grave was near the town of Muqdadiya, northeast of Baghdad, in the province of Diyala, where Al Qaida Sunni Arab militants have reassembled.

Some bodies were draped in police and army uniforms, while others were in civilian clothing, the head of military operations in the region said.
