Tehran: A student editor of a newspaper in one of Iran's most renowned universities was arrested on Monday, accused of offending Islam.
The detention follows the arrest of another student editor after unrest broke out at Amirkabir University when several publications were accused of insulting Islam, the BBC reported.
One of the editors remains at large, but all three say that the articles purported to be insulting Islam were forged.
The reformist student editors say they have been framed to give the righ- wingers an excuse to start confrontation ahead of pending student elections.
