Tehran: Iran's Revolutionary Guards said on Monday they had tested a naval weapon that would destroy any vessel in range of 300km, Fars news agency reported.
"No vessel would be safe and would be sent to the depths," Revolutionary Guards Commander Mohammad Ali Jafari was quoted as saying.
The comments were made as tensions rose over Iran's nuclear programme and after Iran failed to meet a Saturday deadline to respond to a nuclear incentives offer by the West.
