Iran MPs boycott Ahmadinejad victory party: reports
More than 100 MPs and Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani snubbed a victory dinner party hosted by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to reports on Thursday.

Tehran: More than 100 MPs and Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani snubbed a victory dinner party hosted by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to reports on Thursday.
Etemad Melli newspaper said that 100 MPs, 30 conservatives and 70 members of the Islamic revolution faction boycotted the event.
"Ali Larijani and his deputies were not there," conservative MP Javad Arianmanesh was quoted as saying.
Larijani, Iran's former chief negotiatior, has emerged as a conservative rival to Ahmadinejad.
