Tehran: Iran holds three days of war games on Monday, with exercises involving anti-aircraft defence systems.
The war games include Iran's Revolutionary Guards and its regular army in the drills, the Isna news agency reported.
Iran Daily said the games intend to “test new weapons and defence plans'', along with maintaining and upgrading current combat units.
The exercises come amid speculation about a possible US or Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, which the West and Israel say are part of a secret bid to build atomic bombs.
