Jimmy Carter heads to Egypt
Former US President Jimmy Carter has arrived in Egypt on the second leg of his Middle East trip.

Cairo: Former US President Jimmy Carter has arrived in Egypt on the second leg of his Middle East trip.
A delegation of senior Hamas officials from the Gaza Strip also came to Cairo on Wednesday and said Carter was to meet them in the Egyptian capital the following day.
Carter, has come under increasing criticism from Israel and the US for his readiness to talk to Hamas.
He also raised Israeli anger by embracing Nasser Shair, a senior Hamas politician, at a ceremony in the West Bank.
