Egyptian authorities have released nine photojournalists and a cameraman detained while covering violent protests at a textile factory north of Cairo.

The riots were sparked after workers complained of low wages and the rising cost of food.
A Reuters photographer was among those arrested. All of them were Egyptian, and were released after several hours of detention.
