Rescue workers were continuing to search through the debris, but were being delayed by the size of the rocks and logistical problems.
No survivors have been recovered since the disaster occurred on Saturday.
At least 58 people were injured, with 13 still remaining in hospital, state news agency Mena said.
People who lost their homes due to the incident will be provided by housing by the government, newspaper Al Ahram said, quoting ruling party authorities.
