Cairo: Osama Bin Laden's son and his British wife arrived in Doha, Qatar on Sunday after they were refused entry to Egypt, Al Jazeera television reported.

The Qatar-based television said Omar Bin Laden arrived in Doha on an Egyptian airplane. It gave no further details.

Omar arrived in Cairo on Saturday from Madrid after the Spanish authorities refused his request for asylum.

The couple lived in Egypt for several months in 2007 and 2008. They have also been denied entry by British authorities.
Airport sources said Omar asked to go to Qatar, where he would normally have right of entry as a Saudi citizen.
