Sana'a: A Saudi wanted by the Yemeni authorities on suspicion of plotting attacks for Al Qaida has turned himself in, a security official said on Thursday.
Naif Dahis Yahia Al Harbi is suspected of "belonging to a cell that was planning attacks in Yemen", the official said.
The news follows the announcement by the defence ministry website on Sunday of the capture of Al Qaida's main financier in the Arabian peninsula.
"The arrested man is named Hassan Hussain Bin Alwan, a Saudi national, and he is the financier for attacks launched by Al Qaida organisation in Yemen and Saudi Arabia," the website said.
