Sanaa: Hamas leader Khaled Mesha'al arrived in Yemen on Sunday for talks to resolve disputes between Palestine's two main factions.
Mesha'al was due to meet Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Foreign Minister Abubakr Al Qirbi later on Sunday.
This is the next attempt in Yemen's efforts to broker reconciliation after failed attempts in March.
Tensions between Hamas and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction have been high since the Islamist movement seized Gaza in 2007.
