Sanaa: A fire in a gas station set a nearby small hotel ablaze in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Saturday, but no one was hurt, a Yemeni security official said.
"There were no deaths or injuries," the official said.
The Interior Ministry said a fire had started in the gas station and spread to the hotel.
Residents said they heard a loud explosion around the time of the fire, but a ministry statement said that was caused by a plane breaking the sound barrier.
