Sana'a: Fierce clashes erupted in Sana'a Thursday between Yemeni anti-government protesters and regime loyalists which left five people wounded and prompted police to fire warning shots, an AFP reporter said.
Around 2,000 protesters, mostly students, had just left Sana'a university headed for Al-Tahrir square in the centre of the capital when they were met by regime supporters and clashes broke out, the reporter said.
