Woman killed trying to cross Shaikh Zayed Road

An Asian woman died on Saturday after she was run over by a car while crossing the road near Dubai World Trade Centre Roundabout on Shaikh Zayed Road.

Dubai: An Asian woman died on Saturday after she was run over by a car while crossing the road near Dubai World Trade Centre Roundabout on Shaikh Zayed Road.

According to police, the woman was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road in an undesignated spot. She was taken to the hospital where she succumbed to injuries last evening.
