The service, which was launched at the beginning of the month, starts from 11pm to 5.30am the following morning. Eisa Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, Chief Executive Officer of the RTA's Public Transport Agency, said around 650 passengers used the service everyday.

He said: "The agency is seeking to meet the rising demand for buses between Dubai and Sharjah." A fleet of six buses carry passengers from Al Ghubaiba Station in Dubai to Al Jubail Station in Sharjah and vice versa.
