New bridge to ease congestion
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will open a new bridge today in the Business Bay Crossing zone to ease traffic flow from Bu Kadra Interchange on Al Khail Road towards Bur Dubai and Za'abeel.

Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will open a new bridge today in the Business Bay Crossing zone to ease traffic flow from Bu Kadra Interchange on Al Khail Road towards Bur Dubai and Za'abeel.
The temporary traffic signal at the intersection of Oud Metha Road and the Business Bay Crossing Road near Bu Kadra will be removed.
Key road
Meanwhile, RTA is gearing up to complete the Business Bay Crossing Project, one of the key road projects in the emirate.
The project consists of six different contracts costing Dh1.2 billion.
Maitha Obaid Bin Udai, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Traffic and Roads Agency at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, said, the project aims to build a new express corridor stretching from the First Interchange of Shaikh Zayed Road (Defence Intersection) to Dubai Airport Tunnel passing through Doha Road, Jadaf area and the Business Bay Crossing over the Dubai Creek, and then to Nad Al Hamar Road.
"Work on Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the project has been completed with the construction of the Business Bay Crossing."
She said completion of the project is part of RTA strategy to develop key roads in Dubai.
