More than 200 driving licences confiscated
Police last month confiscated more than 200 driving licences because the holders had exceeded the black points limit of traffic violations for this year.
Dubai: Police last month confiscated more than 200 driving licences because the holders had exceeded the black points limit of traffic violations for this year.
Brigadier Mohammad Saif Al Zafein, Director of the Dubai Police Traffic Department, said the period of time the 286 licences were confiscated varied from one month to one year depending on the types of offence. He said the fines ranged from Dh100 to Dh3,000.
