Man killed as vehicle rams truck
A man was killed when his pickup rammed into a truck on Emirates Road on Monday.

Dubai: A man was killed when his pickup rammed into a truck on Emirates Road on Monday.
The accident took place when the 30-year-old Indian victim rammed his vehicle into a truck and was killed on the spot.
As a result of the impact, the victim was trapped in his pickup and hydraulic equipment had to be used in the effort to free him that took 20 minutes.
The driver of the truck sustained moderate injuries. In a similar incident, another driver was trapped in his pickup yesterday, but was rescued with moderate injuries.
Police called on heavy vehicle drivers to abide by speed limits.
