Driver who killed three sisters was speeding
The motorist who ran over three girls and their nanny here on Monday was driving at a speed of no less than 120km/h, on a road with a limit of 80km/h, police said.
Abu Dhabi: The motorist who ran over three girls and their nanny here on Monday was driving at a speed of no less than 120km/h, on a road with a limit of 80km/h, police said.
The three Emirati sisters were killed and their nanny sustained serious injuries when they were hit by a car while crossing Shaikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Road.
The three girls, ages seven, six, and four, and their Indonesian nanny, 24, were crossing the street from an area not designated for pedestrians when they were hit by a motorist said to have been driving recklessly and exceeding the speed limit.
Police sources said five accidents involving pedestrians took place at the same spot in the past six months because pedestrians do not following warnings not to cross there.

when the place was designated as a crossing place then it is the fault of the nanny to let children cross if a person comes suddenly in front of driver in a non designated crossing place what can he do even if he is not speeding

I have personally saved many such padestrians crossing at non designated areas. Public should be educated and be aware of such dangers. They should cross over at such areas.
In this case over speeding driver is also responsible

Come what may. I hope that driver is put behind the bars. I am taken a back by just imagining the loss for the parents. Moreover speedlimits should be monitored with a strict adherence. Nanny I think is a real culprit in this case.
