Accident: Bangladeshi man run over in RAK

A Bangladeshi expatriate sustained serious injuries on Sunday after being run over by a four-wheel vehicle on Al Faisal Street.

Ras Al Khaimah: A Bangladeshi expatriate sustained serious injuries on Sunday after being run over by a four-wheel vehicle on Al Faisal Street.

A senior police officer from the Traffic and Licensing Department said the 26-year-old was crossing the street when a speeding vehicle driven by an Emirati identified as A.N. hit him.

The officer said police vehicles and ambulances rushed to the scene and referred the victim to Saqr Hospital once the accident was reported.

The injured man is in the intensive care unit.
