Dubai: The Marine Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed 20 per cent of initial designs of abra and water bus stations.
The stations include Bur Dubai Station, Dubai Old Souk, Sabkha, Bani Yas, Seef, Deira Old Souk, Shindagha and Bastakiya Station.
The CEO of RTA Marine Agency, Mohammad Obaid Al Mulla, said it has so far completed 20 per cent of initial designs of the marine stations to be built along Dubai Creek.
"The Project envisages development of two initial designs of abra, water bus and water taxi stations. One design is inspired by a heritage architectural flavour and it will be consistent with buildings in the neighbourhood. The other features modern classical touches."
