Abu Dhabi: Travellers through UAE airports do not face discrimination based on their nationalities, the Foreign Ministry has stressed.

An official source at the ministry explained that the procedures followed at the airports use state-of-the-art systems for security checks, and all passengers, irrespective of their citizenships, have to pass through these procedures.

Commenting on a recent statement by the Iranian foreign ministry, accusing the UAE of discriminating against Iranian travellers at the country's airports, the official responded by saying that the airport personnel are trained to conduct security checks in an errorless way and everyone receives the same treatment.
