Ras Al Khaimah: Ras Al Khaimah Municipality has announced that it will be launching a project to build seven new parks in the emirate.

The project, which is estimated to cost Dh14 million, will be implemented in seven areas — Shaam, Khzam, Seih Al Uraibi, Al Shooka, Al Munaee, Al Mooairedh, and Al Dhait, said Engineer Mohammad Al Asam, Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.

“Two million dirhams will be the budget for each of the seven areas for the project,” added Al Asam, pointing out that the project aims to cater to the need for more parks and green areas.

The project also aims to provide residents with entertainment areas, where families can enjoy various activities on a day out.
