I have been reading Gulf News for the last six years and it certainly is one of the best in the region. There have been many news items which have created an impression but none like the story about Abbas, the nine-month-old boy who was killed in Israeli airstrike on Lebanon. The picture of the "dust- covered" Abbas with the pacifier around his neck being lifted still comes back to me. More so because my son was of the same age when Abbas was killed.

For the last five years, I have been reading Gulf News. I am very interested in news about Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the problems about traffic and rent hikes.

The Friday magazine with the article ?Shawarma for Life? is really very touching sometimes. The stories told by people there are very sentimental and makes you realise that there is more to life than just money, career or ego.
