Shaikh Mohammad launches TV channel

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai on Saturday launched the Noor Dubai TV Channel, which will be viewed worldwide through Arabsat and Nilesat.
The new TV channel will be available on the e-vision package.
Shaikh Mohammad toured the studios of the new TV channel in the Al Quoz district of Dubai. He was briefed about the objectives and programmes of the TV channel which is set to commence telecast with the advent of Ramadan.
He expressed his pleasure about the birth of the new quality channel, urging the TV employees to be creative and keep abreast with local achievements to project them to the world in the best possible way.
