Morning read
I have been reading Gulf News for over six years. It is my favourite thing to do in the morning while drinking my coffee. The Nation section keeps everyone informed, especially about road closures and traffic through the website. The newspaper is straightforward and simple, which helps keeps us interested. But I would like to see some more light-hearted articles because we've had enough of bad news.

Knowledgeable
I do not read the news often but when I do, it is usually Gulf News. I prefer reading it online instead of the actual newspaper because I do not have enough time. It is my favourite thing to do at work. One of the reasons I enjoy reading it is because the information is very up-to-date and I often know what's going on before my friends do. The Sport section is also excellent.

Highlight problems
As a Serbian expatriate working in Dubai, I would like to commend Gulf News for highlighting the plight of expatriate workers in the UAE. The reports reveal just how much the incomes of employees have become depleted as a result of the dollar's plunging value. I would also like to add that we have to also contend with increasing rents and prices of commodities in Dubai. I hope you continue to publish such reports and I hope authorities will act on the problems faced by many expatriates here. More power to Gulf News.

Daily ritual
My best friend and I read Gulf News over coffee every morning at university. It has become a kind of tradition for us. The two publications that we look forward to the most are tabloid! and the entertainment magazine e+. The recent coverage about press freedom was very bold and it needed to be said. I hope there will be more follow up on this issue by having more reports published on this subject.

Big difference
We have always had Gulf News at home. There's a huge difference between how Gulf News looked, as I remember it 10 years ago, and how it looks today. I do the crosswords every day and they have helped me tremendously with my English. Whenever I am on the website, I like voting in the polls that are posted and reading the Opinion section. It's a great newspaper - keep it up!

Avid fan
I was introduced to Gulf News when I arrived to the UAE seven years ago. It is a very objective newspaper that has exhaustive information, the Nation section in particular. My husband is an avid sports fan and always snatches that section away in the mornings. I enjoyed the coverage on the rain and look at the Traffic Watch online for updates numerous times. Great work Gulf News!

Longer reports needed
Among the newspapers in the UAE, Gulf News is the best. However, when compared to international newspapers, the length of the reports is too short. It would be great to see more in-depths featured in the newspaper. Online, I like looking at the photo galleries, especially the one on the rain in the UAE. Since I live away from home, I always check Gulf News to see what's happening there.

Practical newspaper
I have been reading Gulf News for about six months. I go on the website every day because it is a comprehensive source of information. I enjoy reading the Opinion section as well as any other report that catches my eye. But the website could be more streamlined as it looks congested sometimes. My favourite sections include Sport, Be Heard, Nation and Business. What I like about the newspaper is that the various sections are separate so you can pull each one out and read them on their own. The fact that Gulf News interacts with its readers is very innovative, and I like the way the newspaper allows people to express their thoughts. One thing I would like to see is more coverage of Lebanon because I like being informed of the events that are happening there.

Daily inspiration
Gulf News is a great newspaper. It helps a lot of people with the information that is published, whether it is in a report or in a supplement. Because of that, it inspires and guides all its readers daily. Because of the newspaper's efforts, we always have the most up-to-date information. All of our questions are answered in one way or another in Gulf News, which helps us achieve our goals.
