Long relationship
My relationship with Gulf News is almost 15 years old, and it started when I first came to the UAE. Gulf News has always been the trusted link between the outside world and us. The front-page glossiness and colour have always made my mornings vibrant. Gulf News has proved to be a friend and with its regular updates and upgrades, there is always something new to look forward to. Happy Birthday Gulf News!

Real treat
Since my daughter and her family live in the UAE, I visit a lot from India. On my trips, I always make sure I have a copy of Gulf News to read with my breakfast every morning. It is a real treat to be able to stay connected with global matters and read all the important news. I appreciate how the paper uses simple and effective language so that readers of all nationalities are able to grasp the issues quickly.

Dependable
I have been a Gulf News reader for almost nine years and there's no other newspaper I'd rather read. I remember reading about the 9/11 attacks and other events. We could always depend on the paper to provide up-to-date information and facts. The only problem I have with the paper is that it has now become too heavy, with too many additional supplements. Apart from that, the coverage and content are great and its look gets better every day. I hope the paper continues to do well.

Pleasure to read
I am a 15-year-old student studying in the 10th grade. Besides my studies, I read Gulf News briefly, especially the pages containing news about sports and lifestyle.

Preserving issues
I am a reader from Kashmir and I really love Gulf News. My hobby is to preserve every issue, as either a file or sometimes as a hard copy.

I have all the issues of Gulf News starting from June 2005, when I was in Dubai. Your newspaper is one of the greatest newspapers in the world, and I am really impressed with your publication. My good wishes are with the team.

Late reader
I only started reading Gulf News a year ago, despite having lived in the UAE for 20 years. I found that the reports about India are non-prejudiced, and the reports on international matters are also unbiased. I feel sad that I could have started reading the newspaper earlier, had I listened to the well-meaning advice of my friends who switched to Gulf News some years ago.

Accurate newspaper
Gulf News is a very resourceful newspaper, and we have been reading it for quite some time. In the recent rains, we found it to be the most reliable source of information for updates on the weather and road closures. It also provided us with news on whether schools were to remain open or be closed. The Gulf News website helped us tremendously in planning for the next day and we were very happy with its accuracy.

Very helpful
I like reading Gulf News, especially the Appointments section, because it's very helpful for jobseekers. The articles on India are extensive and keep me updated about my home country. I read the whole paper and enjoy the coverage on both local and international levels. On the website, the recent pictures showing waterlogged streets of the UAE were fun to look through. Overall it's a great paper, and I enjoy reading it.

News in pictures
I don't often get the time to read the newspaper, so I catch up with the latest news through the Gulf News website. I have been a reader for the past six years. The new layout of the website is very good and has made it easy for less tech-savvy people to read and enjoy the news online. I particularly enjoy the Gulf News picture galleries, because some of the pictures are exceptionally good. Last week I saw pictures of the floods in the UAE because of the rain and was able to show my family back home what was happening here. They were shocked!
