My first journey with Gulf News
My husband managed to get my residence visa done last year. It was during Ramadan. I had never taken an international flight, so was very tense about flying from India to the UAE for the first time.
At the international airport in Delhi, just before boarding the aircraft, I noticed a few newspapers placed on a shelf for passengers. I picked up Gulf News. After boarding the flight, I started crying thinking about my son, who is studying in a boarding school in India.
To distract myself, I started to read the newspaper. I read it on my entire journey and felt calm, relaxed and comfortable because of it. Now, I cannot imagine a single morning without Gulf News.

Around the world
I have been reading Gulf News for the past seven years, ever since I landed in Dubai. I have not only enjoyed reading the newspaper, but it has also equipped me with good language skills. I must thank this daily for giving me the opportunity to express my opinion and suggestions through Your Turn.
Every morning by the time I reach the last page, I feel like I have just finished walking around the globe. I like the Weekend Review, which offers new and interesting perspective. And the newspaper equips expatriates well through its UAE Essentials column.

From Australia with love
After spending many years in the Gulf, my wife and I remember Gulf News being launched. We still catch up with all the news from Australia via gulfnews.com. Thank you for a very informative newspaper.

Breakfast companion
I've been reading Gulf News for almost four years. It has become a habit for my husband and me - Gulf News with breakfast. We read the paper together, and it forms an important part of our morning conversations.

Makes my day
Gulf News is a window to the outside world. Sitting on my porch early in the morning and sipping my coffee, the only thing that makes the few moments before my day gets filled with work is the newspaper.
The news gives me an insight into happenings and zooms issues into my focus. It gives me awareness as a resident of this world. It is a treat to read every day.
Gulf News is my breakfast essential. I have been reading the newspaper for seven years, and I still notice the hard work that goes into the paper for the reader. An analytical reader, such as one like me, would be expecting innovation and creativity regularly. Gulf News has always met my expectations.

A great help
I am a finance professional living in Dubai for the past 10 years. My morning is incomplete without Gulf News and a cup of tea. A great social service that Gulf News does regularly is publishing residents' concerns about business malpractices, consumer complaints and getting them justice. In fact, I have personally experienced this with Gulf News on two different occasions.
Once when a renowned mobile company refused to provide me with the guarantee that I was legitimately entitled to and the other time when a very reputed local airline had recovered an unjustifiable air-fare surcharge from me.
On both the occasions I had approached Gulf News and through its intervention and help, I received justice in both the cases. Even for my professional career advancement, Gulf News played a vital role. I owe my present dream job to the Appointments section of Gulf News.

Good work
I commend Gulf News for its edge over other similar publications in providing the latest news. I have become an ardent admirer after getting to read the paper during my recent three-week trip to Dubai. Keep it up.
