While events like the Dubai Desert Classic and Abu Dhabi Golf Classic are synonymous with the game, the UAE's golfing scene thrives on the many social golfers that play the game.
Many of the top golfers in the UAE developed their skills and game playing on the many courses around the country. Most clubs offer very high standards of coaching.
Landmark clubs like the Emirates Golf Club and the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club have very popular academies that offer top quality golf classes and coaching. New clubs like The Montgomerie, Dubai, the Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Tower Links in Ras Al Khaimah also boast excellent coaching facilities.
