Al Ain: A member of Emirates Aviation Society and the UAE Free Fly Team yesterday put up a stunning flight carrying a 15-metre long UAE flag.
The organisers of the Al Ain Aerobatics Show 2006, said Nasr Hamood Al Nayadi's effort to skydive with the world's largest flag will secure him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The flag was 7.5 metres in width.
Al Nayadi is also the first Asian skydiver who flies wearing a birdman costume that requires a special skill and hard training. He is the only Arab skydiver who is taking part in the World Free Fly Team that will try to break the current Guinness Free Fly Record during the Al Ain Aerobatics Show.
