Participants arrive for Al Ain air show
Colourful flying machines and aerobatic experts have begun flocking to Al Ain airport from around the world to stage their daring manoeuvres at the air show, opening on Wednesday.

Brigadier Staff Pilot, Faris Mohammad Al Mazroui, said all safety arrangements have been finalised. The organisers have set up a special committee to ensure pilots' strict adherence to the rules and regulations.
Speaking at a press conference, Brigadier Al Mazroui, who is assistant of the Commander of UAE Air Force and Air Defence, said aerobatics displays always have a degree of risk involved but the organisers have taken all possible safety measures.
The four-day international event would open tomorrow at Al Ain International Airport in which pilots and aerobatic teams have been taking part from around the world.
The show would jointly be organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) and the UAE Air Force and Air Defence with the cooperation of the World Air Sport Federation.
