Development plan for Al Rams area includes new houses
Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, approved a comprehensive development plan for the Al Rams area in Ras Al Khaimah.
Ras Al Khaimah: Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, approved on Saturday a comprehensive development plan for the Al Rams area in Ras Al Khaimah.
Shaikh Saud approved the development plan during a tour of the area, where he interacted with citizens at a function and luncheon hosted by Abdullah Ahmad Juma'a Al Tunaiji, Director of Security, GCC Secretariat, in the Al Rams area.
The development plan includes the construction of a new corniche, stretching along the coastal areas of Al Rams. It will also include the development and renovation of the 100-year-old city of Al Rams. The plan will include the construction of new houses and distribution of plots for citizens. The Government will also consider building a new entrance to the Al Rams area as part of the development plan.
During his interaction with citizens, Shaikh Saud said people are the key to the nation's progress and efforts towards human development will continue to be the guiding factor in the development strategy of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah.
He said the UAE has been endowed with a visionary leadership who attach great importance to the role of citizens in nation building.
Earlier in the day, Shaikh Saud visited various districts and met with citizens during the day-long tour, which covered the areas of Subait, Refaah and Al Kharran.
Shaikh Saud directed officials to take steps to meet the needs of people in the areas and enhance facilities for residents, including roads, housing and other services.
