Agreement inked to facilitate Emiratis acquire housing

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment and Dubai's Department of Lands and Properties was signed on Monday to boost their joint policies and facilitate house acquisition procedures for Emiratis.

Dubai: A Memorandum of Understanding between the Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment and Dubai's Department of Lands and Properties was signed on Monday to boost their joint policies and facilitate house acquisition procedures for Emiratis.

Rashid Mohammad Al Mutawwa, MBRHE Executive Director, said that the MoU is important for achieving Dubai's vision with regard to providing good services to UAE nationals so they can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle.

"The agreement also seeks to lay down a viable framework for the partnership between the two organisations for their mutual interest. It will add more value and boost the opportunity of achieving progress in the realisation of their common vision thus winning the trust of their clients... It also seeks to ease the existing procedures and improve services for our clients," said Al Mutawwa, adding that in view of the new agreement, the organisational units of each of the two parties can enter into any joint agreements, arrangements or programmes aimed at boosting their partnership.

The agreement calls for the pragmatic development and implementation of a complementary system by the two organisations, boosting of their joint policies, activating their programmes and facilitating the house acquisition procedures for UAE nationals.

It also calls for the enhancement of institutional development efforts, sharing of information, harmonising both sides' institutional cultures at all levels and enhancing transparency in bilateral ties between the two organisations.
