Ras Al Khaimah: Charitable activities during the month of Ramadan increase in Ras Al Khaimah.

Coupons can be used in cooperative societies during Ramadan. A total of 435 families in RAK will benefit from these coupons.
Dar Al Ber Society will organise its free iftar inside four mosques in the emirate, including Tunb Mosque in Dhan area, Al Buloushi Mosque on the Municipality Road, Kuwait Mosque in Al Muaireed Market place and Ali Bin Abi Taleb Mosque.
Package
Al Rahma Charity will distribute foodstuff needed for Ramadan to 3,800 families in the emirate. All food items needed for a family will be included in a package.
The charity will organise eight tents in several areas of the emirate, including a tent next to Adnoc station in Al Jazera Al Hamra, in the Al Jeer area and Al Rams.
The charitable organisations in the emirate announced that all the donated items, money and food will be distributed to beneficiaries as and when it is donated. The organisations said the donations usually increase during the month of Ramadan and that all the donations will be instantly distributed.
Zakat
The organisations will also take care of the Zakat and the Zakat Al Fitr.
The Red Crescent Authority will set up nine tents to offer free iftar meals during Ramadan.
The exact locations for these tents have not been yet confirmed and the RAK branch of the Red Crescent Authority will increase the number of the tents to cover most of the emirate. The Shaikh Khalifa Charities Association, based in Abu Dhabi, will also put up some tents in RAK for iftar.
