Qanat Al Qasba gets ready for families
Sharjah's famous Canal, Qanat Al Qasba, is set to host a month-long series of Ramadan programmes titled "Ramadaniat Al Qasba", where families can gather together for iftar and suhoor meals.
Sharjah: Sharjah's famous Canal, Qanat Al Qasba, is set to host a month-long series of Ramadan programmes titled "Ramadaniat Al Qasba", where families can gather together for iftar and suhoor meals.
As part of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival programme, organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the month-long event will feature a series of religious, entertainment and cultural happenings every night.
"The meticulous planning that has gone into making this event a spiritual as well as an enjoyable one has been tremendous," announced Marwan Al Sarkal, Chief Executive of Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority.
Timings
"Ramadaniat Al Qasba 2007 will include religious lectures, heritage corner, and a fun zone among many other activities."
All activities at Ramadaniat Al Qasba start at 8.30pm and run till 1am during weekdays and from 8.30pm-2am on weekends (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
