Private sector staff get two-day Eid holiday

Private sector employees in the UAE will get a two-day holiday for Eid Al Fitr, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Labour.

Abu Dhabi: Private sector employees in the UAE will get a two-day holiday for Eid Al Fitr, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Labour.

Eid holidays will be on the first and second days of the Shawwal month.

The ministry extended its Eid greetings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates and Members of the Supreme Council, and the people of UAE.
