Official UAE Haj mission returns home
The official UAE Haj mission, led by Mohammad Abaid Al Mazruei, returned home on Sunday after successfully performing this year's Haj and supervising the welfare of UAE pilgrims in the holy land.
Abu Dhabi: The official UAE Haj mission, led by Mohammad Abaid Al Mazruei, returned home on Sunday after successfully performing this year's Haj and supervising the welfare of UAE pilgrims in the holy land.
Al Mazruei - who described this year's Haj as “the best in 15 years''', based on the testimony of the Saudi Arabian Haj authorities - said all members of the mission have completed the Haj rituals in utmost perfection, adding that the clerics accompanying the mission have also discharged their duties effectively.
He attributed the great success of his outfit's mission to the great support of the UAE leadership, headed by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
