Al Noor Centre to host art auction
The Al Noor Centre for Special Needs Children will be staging Art with a smile, India on Canvas, in association with Khushii (Kinship for Humanitarian, Social and Holistic Intervention in India) under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain, Wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Dubai: The Al Noor Centre for Special Needs Children will be staging ‘Art with a smile, India on Canvas', in association with Khushii (Kinship for Humanitarian, Social and Holistic Intervention in India) under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain, Wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The art charity auction will be held on November 28 at the Madinat Jumeirah.
Proceeds will go to Khushii and the Al Noor Centre, to be used for health, education and empowerment.
It will be conducted by Christies and will include a presentation from pianist Richard Clayderman.
Khalid Al Halyan, Chairman of Al Noor, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Khushii, an organisation that works towards improving the lives of the underprivileged and less fortunate.
‘Art with a Smile' will be an effective catalyst in bridging the gap between various segments of the society, bringing them towards a common cause of global concern and reaffirming the power of the individual and the perseverance of the human spirit.''
